Hi Christine, great to hear from you and exciting you’re heading there in September! Yes, this photo was taken just below the BORT station…it’s a downhill walk on the main path for only about 5mins max. It’s taken on the same track that people go down on bicycles and this photo was taken at the first corner, where many people realise they shouldn’t have hired bikes because it’s really steep haha. Have a great trip!

Hello -I am heading to Grindelwald in Sept. and was wondering if the photo under the BORT section of this blog where you are looking at huge peaks across a green valley was accurate? Was that actually taken close to the BORT chair lift? Thank you kindly for your help! It’s a gorgeous shot and I’d really like to see it in person!!!
