This time round I was in Kyoto for 8 days in total, it’s definitely a city where you can spend so much time exploring! I would highly suggest spending more than 3 days there, especially if you enjoy temples, wandering through historic streets. You can also do a day trip from Kyoto to Nara or Osaka…plus I really recommend a full day in Arashiyama. Have fun planning!
