Hi Lisa!
I am a photographer from a Chicago suburb. I love New Zealand and have been there a few times now. I was making my mother in law a collage of nz photos because my husband and I just recently took her there for the first time. I had this one location that I absolutely loved but forgot to record the town/location of our little stop. I just knew it was beautiful, quiet (except for some distant baa's haha) and one of my now favorite places in the south island. I knew it was not too far from when we started our drive from Queenstown to Franz Josef but I just wasn't sure!!!! I came across your blog and saw the photos and was pretty sure this was the place. Then I read your description of the place and I was ecstatic because I could say 100% this was it!!! Thank you so much for posting this! Also, your photos are out of this world. Thank you!
